To enhance operational efficiency and minimize manufacturing errors that involves patient data. Our objective is to provide a seamless system for tracking and managing device related tasks from in the entire manufacturing floor to effectively reduce user issues and associated business costs.

Established and followed core design thinkings: error prevention, handling & efficiency

I utilized fundamental concepts of human factors to establish the primary, core design thinking that serves as the guiding purpose of this portal. I ensured that all design decisions supported one or more of the identified design thinkings.

Designed multiple user interface iterations and presented to key stakeholders

I collaborated with the operational manager and stakeholders from the manufacturing floor to develop user flows. I created an ongoing, detailed task analysis chart that identified any gaps and helped streamline the user workflow. Additionally, I outlined the necessary information that needed to be included in the portal to support user needs for the user interface design.

Conducted end-to-end task analysis of the user flow and needs

As user needs and flow become clearer, I create new iterations that align with the latest user workflow. I then present these to the stakeholders to explain the design solutions and gather feedback and make iterations.
